Medicine and Surgery Admission to the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery – Academic Year 2025/2026In accordance with Law No. 26 of March 14, 2025, and Legislative Decree No. 71 of May 15, 2025, admission to the single-cycle Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery for the 2025-2026 academic year includes the following provisions:Open enrollment for the first semester (filter semester) of the single-cycle Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery.Students may enroll in the filter semester up to a maximum of three times.Simultaneous and free enrollment in another degree or master’s program, even exceeding the standard number of students and at other universities, in the biomedical, health, and pharmaceutical fields, as established by Ministerial Decree No. 418 of May 30, 2025.Mandatory attendance during the filter semester for courses in the qualifying disciplines identified by Ministerial Decree No. 418/2025. Each course grants 6 ECTS credits and includes the following subjects:Chemistry and introductory BiochemistryPhysicsBiologyThese courses follow uniform and coordinated curricula at the national level to ensure harmonization of study plans.Admission to the second semester is conditional upon:Completion of all ECTS credits for the filter semester exams.Placement in the national merit ranking, prepared by the Ministry based on the exam scores from the filter semester, according to the procedures defined in Ministerial Decree No. 418/2025.Exams for the filter semester courses are conducted nationally with uniform assessment methods. Each exam consists of 31 questions: 15 multiple-choice and 16 completion-style questions, as detailed in Annex 2 of Ministerial Decree No. 418/2025.Upon admission to the second semester, each student will be enrolled at one of the designated university campuses according to their preferences indicated during registration, or at another campus based on the availability of unassigned seats. The criteria for forming the national merit ranking and assigning campuses are defined in Ministerial Decree No. 418/2025, in compliance with Article 39, paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree No. 286/1998.
